Well I played the demo on another account by accident so I had to go through the beginning again which kinda sucked especially because you can't skip cutscenes. The next few areas are decent and there's plenty of incentive to explore. Aftewards there's a hub city and I spent a good amount of time in it walking around, talking to npcs, doing quests before I left for the wastelands. I think that chick in the op is in the city but right now she's a moronic mute.
She's cute and energetic, and I actually like her english voice actor. I also like this shopkeeper in the city, there's a system where you buy items to level up their relationship and I maxed her out straight away.
Honestly I'm playing on tv speakers so the listening experience isn't that great. But the area music from what I can hear is fitting and oddly soothing with the vocals. Probably wasn't paying attention but I don't really recall the music for the next two bosses after the demo, the only one that stuck out to me so far was the boss challenge one.
Gonna be a candidate for best soundtrack at the Game Awards this year probably, though I expect FF7R to win that.
