Reboot for the modern audience. Though my issue is unironically the cloning of weapons from a game series which never had to deal with clones.
Koei, stop it. You already know better than to pull this shit.
>You already know better
No they don't lol
They spent two games undoing the cloned nonsense introduced with DW6 only to make everyone a clone again in DW9 and then, when everyone complained about it, they doubled down with SW5
They actually think that making you switch weapons is a good compromise for cloned movesets
They're completely moronic
>They actually think that making you switch weapons is a good compromise for cloned movesets
Which is sad because switching weapons is fricking lame. It devalues character design by making the only unique thing about each character being an EX attack when hardlocking weapons to characters provides infinitely more attachment to said characters.
1 is the only correct Samurai Warriors they should have kept that version going. 2 Is what should have been ideally for the rest of the series. 3 is what the series ended up being...
>1 is the only correct Samurai Warriors they should have kept that version going
The tone of that game alongside all the little extras it had really did make that game a masterpiece. I'm gonna have a bit of a hot take here but I actually liked doing the minigames for the CaC and split story modes like with Ina's bad route happening because you slaughterfricked everyone on the map. I even liked the castle stages.
>I actually liked doing the minigames for the CaC
I didn't but I liked how you could trigger events that made your character more unique, like Magoichi giving you a rifle. The minigames themselves were repetitive af though and you couldn't even choose your weapon at the end.
1 had the best characters, the best route splits, the best costumes and a story mode just for the created character.
2 fixed the castle stages being the same and made the gameplay stand out from DW by adding stances and splitting movesets in three types.
They only had to combine those two for 3 and made a watered-down version of 2 instead...
1 is my absolute favourite and I don't get why it's so underappreciated.
So nice people realizing how good SW1 was compared to the rest. I be in happy if we could get remaster, with updated controls, and XL content in one package.

4's menu music was off the chain that japanese 'oh' was tight.

You sure because I don't recall young me ever having issues getting the weapon I wanted.

actually spirit of sanada is the best one

Well 3 is still better then 4 though, and I totally regret buying 4-2, the only thing good is naotora
>koei
why ask stupid questions when the answer is in the question?
regardless of the flaws I really like sw5
I only played the 3DS game. Is this series actually good? Which is best?
I miss sengoku basara
Me too. The last game was a disaster, sadly.
Me too, but I think capcom already give it up
Didn't they improve nobunaga's first major victory guy?
Here's your Tokugawa Gankerro. Did u rike it?
I still want a semi Warriors 5 part 2 probably centered around this guy
and the monkey.
I prefer his ara ara wife
>draw Ranmaru
>call him Ieyasu
SW6 Honda is going to be a shota, isn't he?
Well there's already a manga drawing shota tadakatsu
SW5 Honda was just Street fighter Alpha Ryu.
Wait was Ginchiyo Tachibana not in 5?
Nope
Only no hime, oichi, sena and a oc kunoichi
Because Musou games are for fujos anon, you should know this by now.
