Volvo can undo all changes that resulted in death of majority of community servers, starting with removing quickplay/matchmaking/competitive and putting server browser back on the main menu (userside)/backtracking their shitty policies and undoing all "competitive balance" weapon changes (hostside).
Sure, they can't just magic servers back into existence. But they can stop being actively hostile to the community, and they can reverse their brain-dead attempt to turn tf2 into cartoony csgo.

I, for one, think Valve is botting their own casual servers just to try as hard as they can to kill TF2 so they can focus on their primary moneymakers like Dota and Counter Strike.
Just delete the hats and bots have no reason to play. Gameplay = hats = high liquidity assets to sell on the steam marketplace for cash. TF2 is effectively a bitcoin faucet and someone will always kill the fun to make a few cents.

As much as I love TF2. I don't even enjoy playing Regular TF2 (Aka Live TF2). I mostly just play TF2 Source Mods like TF2c or occasionally Open Fortress because those games are more soul, they run better, and there's no moronic schlop filler in it like TF2 has.
Does not help that when we actually do get content, 85% of it is garbage. Maps mostly do not hit the same anymore. I don't give a single frick about hats since they don't even fit the artstyle anymore, and war paints are mostly just lazy shit that appeals to the lowest common denominator.
