If that were true I might have actually played a Jap game in the last 7 years. The Japs almost exclusively make anime flavored movie games and they all suck.

No, I've played several western games.
This wasn't even a conscious decision to avoid Japanese games or something. I just decided I'm not going to bother with anything that didn't look really, really fun anymore and the result of that is I haven't played a AAA western game in many years and I haven't played ANY Japanese game at all in many years. The last one was RE7 and it fricking sucked and I dropped it halfway through.

The problem with you console gamers is if it's not a AAA game on one of your consoles then it just doesn't exist as far as you're concerned. I also haven't bothered to buy a console in many years because anything worth a damn on console, not that there's much of anything, comes to PC now anyway.

They've been around for 25 years and never done anything but make meh RPGs. All that changed recently is they went the way of Bioware and started pandering to degenerates.

Resident Evil and Monster Hunter are the only games they really show up for. everything else is a phoned in 6/10 that Capdrones overhype to hell and back because they loved playing RE1 and Super Turbo 30 years ago.
