It's also pretty disappointing you see no action if you decide to sleep with Gale without him using magic. He summons a bed were you both get on and have a kiss then it fades to black. Still enjoyed his romance and character arc overall and felt he was a good fit with Durge.

Can you hire mercs in this game so your party doesn't constantly talk or get horny,? Also any 3.5e or RTWP mods?
Astarion reminds me alot of Sylvando from DQ, a flamboyant weirdo that you go in thinking you're gonna hate but his smarm and deadly capabilities end up keeping him in the party, he makes a great bard btw swap him to it ASAP.

Just entering this thread to say I haven't played the game yet BUT... I want to just to kill this homosexual. His homosexual ass face with that dumbass curly white hair makes me want to break his nose
Shame they picked such a punchable looking face as the flagship character for their ads and stuff because he's one of the main reasons I haven't bought it yet and ignored the game when I heard about it
The game is good but there are aspects of it I'm not looking for forward to in a second playthrough. Your hatred for that character is unwarranted though. He's basically Starscream from Transformers with a sense of humor. If you want a character to dislike, choose Gale.

I'm playing as him. All my companions just got pissed at me for ascending.
I didn't like how the game forces you to have had a gay lover in the past, but I can at least pass it off as something forced on me by my gay former master.
