FF15 it's the best, single player, Final Fantasy game released by Square Enix in the last 20 years

i had fun playing it, probably the most fun out of all the final fantasy games although ff14 is also pretty fun
It looks good, has a pretty good soundtrack and has a brave ending for a Final Fantasy title. (in a series that usually shits out happy endings as obligation)
Other than those points, i was never that impressed with it. Even the open world got boring very fast when you immediately see how limited you are.

The first instance of a sad ending was tactics I believe where ramza and the gang died (except matsuno said they all lived and had adventure in different countries, which I think is JK Rowling level of bullshit). And then we got X where tidus yeeted himself into the farplane and left yuna crying on the floor. XIII could also be considered to have a sad ending due to the fact that XIII-2 retconned the first game's ending and had serah die. SoP was the most recent FF game and it also had a sad ending. My point is aside from XII and the MMOs, downer ending is the norm for modern final fantasy

Graphics are pretty
At least it's playable whereas versus XIII will always remain something no consumer can actually play. So that's a bonus I guess.

Best I can do is the game has good OST, everything else is pure shit.
The Regalia looks nice.
Shame that the game is trash though and gave this board one of the biggest autists in years.
Open world was a mistake but the comfy broventure somewhat makes up for it. Combat is torn between wanting to be an RPG and wanting to be an action game but built towards neither. The concept is good and is kino during certain fights, but it needs a second attempt in another game to nail.
