Alan's pretty much dumbfounded by it in-game in the beginning but just rolls with it by the end. It's so much better handled in-game though, it's genuinely amazing.

Okay, I will. I miss Remedy's games from Max Payne to Alan Wake. Instead of putting more work into varied action gameplay, they got further up their ass with focus on over-complicated concepts and over-written dialogue in place of actual plot.
Control was going in a better direction, but levitating is the kind of cheating mobility that destroys the level design and the characters are all weak as frick.
I still haven't finished Alan Wake II because I just got bored because of how little happened in the 15 hours I played. And the elements of survival horror just aren't very engaging.
Still love Poets of the Fall though.
