The fact that these bastards used a horrific event where nogs started raping, murdering & looting an entire area in Germany and called it MARRYING WOMEN in the game is some of the most fricked up history rewriting that ever made it into a game.

MP was fun. Like any cod game it got frustrating after the first month with only hyper sweats remaining.
It was fun and chaotic. Blitz mode or whatever the frick it was called was very fun. The gunfight mode was also very fun but it should have got weekly tournaments and rewards and more.maps.

CoD1 and CoD2 did it the best, it's a senseless meatgrinder where everyone is a replaceable npc from enemies to the friendlies.
That's what makes the game about war authentic - anyone can get killed any moment just from a stray bulled on an artillery shell.
Games like CoD Vanguard are shit cause everything is scripted and all characters have plot armor and it's not just battles with tons of death it's some bullshit tacticool spec ops with fantasy plot.

Campaign wise yeah.. vanguard was fricking awful. Idk how they managed it since atleast all cod campaigns are sorta fun.
I replayed them all recently. Vanguard fails at both gameplay and giving a good action story experience.
