Say your prayers PC gamers

Just giving you a heads up that we now came up with an AI solution for handling our anti-piracy software. If you thought cracking denuvo has gotten hard recently, we found a way to make it take at least 100x longer, and by the time you crack the game it is already dated. Get fricked.

              >denuvo checks your license EVERY 24 hours no matter what you do..
Which it passes because the license as of going offline in Steam is valid. Unless you go back into online mode with Steam, your license is valid until your computer configuration changes (hardware/software/driver update). This is how Russian sites work, except they log you in with someone else's account, then make you go offline. You can do it for free just by buying the game and refunding it.

Are you really this moronic? You're not fooling anyone here. There is literally no reason to pay for a Denuvo game. They're free.

Doesn't the drm kick in after 30 days?

No. It's based entirely on configuration changes or if you're stupid enough to go back online with Steam before you're done playing.

I'll have to try that sometime.
I feel this is too easy to deal with those, even if it's possible now. You'd have to make sure the alt account is not associated with your machine (which steam does track which machines have access to a given account) and your payment methods.

The tide has been turning for a long time with the overwhelming majority of new games using steamworks and nothing else. Denuvo is niche now and their main supporter is fricked.

          >all they care about is control because money is worthless
God you're so moronic it hurts
Denuvo is all about money. CEOs, chairmen, board members, all mistakenly believing that piracy = lost sales. "If only we could convert those pirates into customers, we'd have more money." Denuvo is the "solution" to that. Except it isn't. Because it doesn't do that. The vast majority of pirates are too poor to ever be customers, and the rest won't buy it out of spite. Not only have you not increased revenues, but you're now offering an inferior product akin to embedding a bitcoin miner in your game, which turns off your actual customers who would have bought your game if you didn't do something so stupid. Not to mention implementing Denuvo into your game is a process that itself costs money, both money paid to denuvo and paid to your staff to implement it. A lot of money.

Denuvo is a net drain on the whole industry. Developers lose. Paying customers lose. And yes, pirates lose. No one wins except Denuvo. We call this a parasitic lifeform in biology. Denuvo is a leech that exists at everyone else's net detriment. And if you are legitimately not a shill, and just another paypig, you are not only shooting yourself in the foot, but being snarky about it. Congrats on being braindead, I guess.
