To be honest sbi didn't kill this game, the roguelite style of the gameplay did. Their games used to be handcrafted missions but now its a randomized forgettable mini missions. It wasn't fun and didn't sell well. Now I of course don't know the financial situation of the company when the game came out but such a risky game design was probably not the smartest thing to do, specially for a first try.

Shadow Gambit was a step down because of terrible VAs, too much dialogue, weak atmosphere and a stupid hub with less likeable characters. Most importantly, the levels were less tightly designed because you can choose which characters to bring on each mission. Any anons who like stealth games should still play the first two.
