Yes, Hooded Horse. That publisher picked up a lot of indie games recently and all of them have been delayed since they now have funding. It's a bit worrisome but maybe it will be okay, we'll see. I doubt it

Where's the scam? I followed the game so far, the concept is interesting and so far the dev seems chill. Will definitely pirate on day 1 when it launches.

The dev was so far behind 3 different start-ups that existed solely to siphon EU funds for IT start-ups, producing nothing at all. This is his 4th. Including being registered on his flat as a company address until someone caught up he took money for renting an office without actually renting one - and only after that audit he went to rent an office, taking money for that purpose for half a year. It's all in the public record of the company, as long as you read Polish or feel like re-typing it into translator.
There is no actual gameplay, there is no actual data on the game, all there exists is a graphic presentation made out of assets. That despite it's been in "development" for two years at this point and the entire known activity of the dev since announcement is exchanging bants with people on social media

This is him being very honest about his limitations, developing AI outside of FSM+ and baisc behavioral tree is way over the expertise of current game devs and at that point you could get a 6 figures + working on deep learning if you were decent at it
Over all if he is charismatic enough and got enough semi-competent people to work for free the game he is trying to make in unreal engine could actually be made and as long as he gets some autistic modders to do multiplayer for him the game could get away with not having a good singleplayer AI, just look at bannerlord, all the senior devs there screamed that multiplayer was impossible and one autistic modder made it happen for free which they even refuse to hire or allowed to publish his shit

Even if it is half competently made i think it is worth supporting. TW killer or not, CA and the industy at whole NEEDS some competition if we want good strategy games back again. This, espiocracy, falling frontier and second front are my hopes for this.
