Nah you don't really get to pull that here, that refers to when a cutscene/lore shows something that directly contradicts gameplay, that's why the Pokemon examples on that page are things like dex entries getting contradicted by gameplay. Theres no "cutscene" or "lore" here just a small child clowning on the strongest Pokemon in the world. The gameplay is showing exactly what's happening.
DS and pokemon have widely different gameplay and a moron who has good reflexes and sense of the rhythm could beat DS but struggle in some pokemon fights. Yes because even an actual moron could beat any pokemon game in terms of fight difficulty

Most actual toddlers I've seen have no problem beating Pokemon incredibly easily, it often teaches them how to read. Pretty much all of Pokemon except for very rare examples like the OP is barely above edutainment shit like Putt Putt or Carmen Sandiego I don't know why you guys pretend it isn't
