The fricking first part of the game is like a 20 minute unskippable cutscene. Imagine having a new game plus with that shit. I couldn't replay it because of that.
If you play Chrono Trigger you'll notice a lot of the game is built around ng+ like how you can avoid most enemies and cutscenes are short and sweet. How hard is it to grasp a simple concept like that?
Characters and storyline suck. Frick Garl. They spend the whole game insisting how cool and charismatic he is and they literally make him Jesus and give him a last supper at one point. Frick that fatass. All of the characters are like cardboard and I didn't get attached to any of them. I related more to a mute moron and a robot in Chrono Trigger.
And the game sucks its own dick with meta tv tropes all the time. LOL so funny.
The sprite art is cool and the battle system was real fun
i tried playing it and it looked amazing but the character art looks like ass to a point i refunded it, if there'a mod to remove them I'd buy it again.

If they remade the character portraits with another artist and actually made an interesting story then I would change my mind because the puzzles are fine and the gameplay can be improved. I really just can say the pixel art is good after playing the little time I did. So the game is meh.
