FF7 Rebirth got shitposted straight into the ground. This game released 2 and a half weeks ago with zero fanfare here. Starting a decent thread on /vrpg/ is not as easy as you might think. You have to actually play the game, not go "wow video game, discuss it for me".

This was one of the games from that early wave of indie games. I had completely forgotten about it until now, but I played a demo for it alongside the likes of Super Meat Boy, Braid, Castle Crashers, Limbo.
I remember seeing this game half a decade ago, saw it wasn't finished, and moved on. Played the demo for it last year and thought "oh, that seems fun". And over the last weekish I've been having a good time playing the game. However, I have finally reached the final boss (which you DO have to grind every card for, btw) and it is absolute horseshit. >First Phase is fine but sometimes you'll get trapped in bullet hell with zero (0) opportunity to attack, not even a brief moment after it >Second Phase is the first phase on crack with half the arena PERMANENTLY on fire >halfway down the healthbar he just spawns another whole fricking boss >last half is the Second Phase but that other boss you just defeated sometimes comes in to frick you up on top of it
Frick that fight. Not to mention the Hard Mode version locks your ass out of Health Potion and Barrier on top of that, outright invalidating your skill points and potions. If the intent was to filter, I was properly filtered, and I am pissed.
