Frick Pokemon lmao. This was so based

Thought it was cool then and still think it's cool now.
i really want a crossover
>get upset about how red gets beaten up and both charizard and red are killed, scream that pokemon should have won
Even "adults" did this, which is why Death Battle made the awful Lucario VS Renamon video to calm them down.
How bad was it?
Lucario won by using Mega and Renamon didn't even get to evolve once to her champion/ultimate/mega. It was a pity win because they didn't want her to win.
death battle always does either bullshit one-sided matches or unearned wins after a losing fanbase seethes too much, not just with pokemon
pic related
There have actually been some pretty good Death Battles where it's not lopsided but it's not an asspull victory either. Sometimes stomps are fun, though. I don't know how anyone couldn't like Homelander vs Omni-man
Didnt Natsu win this one?
Yes.
yeah, that's the point, fairy tail fans were assmad erza got obliterated by zoro so they made another one piece vs fairy tail match where they pitted the guy who's made of fire against the guy who eats fire to get stronger
The first and only time Xenoblade anything has been in Death Battle and it's a shit song from the shittiest Xenoblade game.
>Pikachu loses to Blanka
>Venusaur loses to Charizard who loses to Blastoise
>Charizard loses AGAIN to Agumon
>Lucario wins against Renamon
>Mewtwo wins against Shadow
>Machamp wins against Goro
The fallout from Pokemon vs Digimon forced them to give Pokemon unearned wins
Pokemon should've won all of those matchups
The frick was Goro gonna do against Machamp other then die lmao.
Use a fatality
before getting decimated by 1 thousand consecutive punches? frick no.
Machamp's Pokedex entries sealed Goro's fate.
It wouldn't even have needed those. Goro literally had zero feats, he's never done anything other than just be a vaguely strong guy. You can even see this in the episode where they just say "this MK character does this! and goro...I guess is about as fast/strong!" If they extended that to Pokemon it would've been an even bigger shitstomp
Pikachu should have beaten Blanka and Machamp of course should have beat Goro (Street Fighter and MK characters have no fricking feats lol) but every other matchup should have gone to the non-Pokemon combatant
I don't know who Blanka is.
Charizard would lose to Agumon.
I stopped watching Digimon before furgaymon appeared.
But Shadow the Hedgehog? Yeah, Mewtwo wins that, easy.
>I don't know who Blanka is
The average nu-gen defender, folks. This guy thinks PLA and Scarlet/Violet were good.
Oh, that dude. Yeah, I was completely not into fighting games back in the day. Didn't help that for some reason none of my friends were either. I don't even remember the shoryuken dude's name.
>I was completely not into fighting games back in the day.
>I don't even remember the shoryuken dude's name.
Someday after you graduate high school, you will learn not to make an ass of yourself and blab about things you don't know. Frick off you homosexual fetus
Well, I do remember that the shoryuken dude existed. And there was another dude who was his pallette swap who they made into a separate character. And there was that one lt. Surge looking dude with bigger hair. And I think some deep-africa Black person shaman thing?
>Yeah, Mewtwo wins that, easy
Shadow has infinite speed and kills a creature that does this, how the frick would Mewtwo win
In retrospect I would have been fine with Blanka's win if the fight didn't end how it did.

>Toph beats Gaara

>Sephiroth beats Vergil
Death Battle is hilariously wrong frighteningly often. I don't know why anyone expects them to make the right choice in any given matchup.
The Billcord verdict was the most pandering shit ever fricking using author statements because one is fricking featless
Charizard vs Agumon/Greymon/Metagreymon was absolutely correct thoughever
Even down to the "Pokemon are slaves"
Never said it wasn't. A broken clock is right twice a day. Just because Death Battle is wrong ~60% of the time doesn't mean they don't have correct verdicts such as Omni-man beating Homelander or Naruto beating Ichigo.
Do they really get it wrong that often? 80% of their fights are obvious shitstomps, it's just the 20% that's up in the air and about half of those are the complete bullshit like Toph vs Gaara or Yang vs Tifa
>Toph beats Gaara
If true everything these chucklefricks have ever done is bullshit. The power scaling between naruto and AtlA is the difference between the real world and atla
>Tracer beats Scout
This is just autism
>DIO beats Alucard
Time stop vs a gorgillion vampire powers?
>Thor beats Vegeta
Come the frick on now
>Raven beats Phoenix
Oh boy
>Bill Cypher beats Discord
Meh. Bill is a conman first and foremost
>Obito beats Darth Vader
Completely fair if you ighore EU
>Yang beats Tifa
Which yang
>Sephiroth beats Vergil
In no world lmao
>Death Battle is hilariously wrong frighteningly often. I don't know why anyone expects them to make the right choice in any given matchup.
If what you are saying is accurate yeah how do they have viewership
>Death Battle
what powerscaling does to a mf
>Link rolls away from the silly eye monster's clearly slow laser beam
>"Link has demonstrated ftl reaction and movement speed"
I can't believe people take death battle seriously.
I personally disliked this fight because it went against their rule that every combatant has to be aware they're in a fight to the death and be totally committed to it regardless of their canon personality.
Yet Red was blissfully unaware and acted like it was just another Pokemon fight. You can tell they preferred Digimon because they really went out of their way to make Pokemon look as lame as possible.
The animation doesn't reflect the actual battle otherwise Greymon would have tore Charizard to shreds in a single hit. There's a bunch of other episodes with animations where the death is very clearly an unintended accident
