>seems impossible to beat at first
>humanoid, with parryable attacks
>you get better every time you fight him as you learn his attack patterns
>eventually you dominate him, not because he's nerfed, but because you got gud
>makes shitters seethe
Beep beep, best From boss coming through. If you disagree, you got filtered.

the only part I dislike is how it feels impossible to dodge the roll attack in areas without pillars to hide behind
just roll into it you get enough i frames
ur not fatrolling r u?
you can't dodgeroll when he does his roll of doom. you have to hide behind a pillar until it passes. this is a good opportunity to throw kukris at him t proc bleed.
You can just run around in a circle until it ends and he'll never catch you. I'm surprised people did this fight and didn't realize that.
Beat him first try in all of his iterations, the skinny one was harder to learn
>use mimic
>throw sleep bombs
>git gudder than parrygays
I beat the game and you're tryhard homosexual if you say otherwise.
To each his own, but just know that you cheated yourself out of pure kino. That is all.
If thats cheating yourself than id rather play a different game that rewards creativity
based sandmen
I two shot him with that one buff that makes your weapon glow grey and had a massive sword and huge strength.
When I went back with a rapier it was like you said. Didn’t enjoy it as much with the skinny lad alongside because it feels unfair to 2v1 when they never stop attacking. Ornstein and Smough was more fair
I thought he was pretty easy.
>using dishonest mechanics
miyazaki put sleep pots in the game for the godskins. they aren't really useful anywhere else
>the boss is either a menace or he's totally easily cheeseable with this one specific item
Why are so many ER bosses like this?
That literally every dark souls boss
Miyazaki likes to put little interactions like this in just ahout every game he makes, it's to reward creative players that use their tools
Sekiro was probably the game where it was the most balanced, stuff like the spear being able to do huge damage to the headless monkey or the umbrella being able to block ishin's wind attack or the monkey scream or false monk taking damage from snap dragons since it's an illusion
That's not true though, there's one or two gimmick bosses per game usually but in elden ring damn near every boss can be trivialized with a specific item
That's the weak one.
he would be the best if his roll wasnt absurdly buggy
I first tried him under leveled
you just described From's enemy design, good work.
more shitters seethed at him because the most people bought Elden Ring at release, meaning it had the most new players to the series than any other game in the series had thus far.
A single sleep bomb can put him to sleep.
>Plants are weak to fire
Makes sense
>Skeletons are weak to holy
Makes sense
>Heavily armored enemies are weak to strike
Makes sense
>Godskin are weak to sleep
Why?
because godskin clothing is exceedingly fine, the texture inside of the clothing considered 'swaddling clothes' meaning it's like a full body blanket, deadly as they may be, they're also quite cozy and can be lulled into that state with ease, since they're already 'in bed'
Both godskin sets have high focus.
it's the best explanation I can give, if there was something about them having low stamina or something I could see it, but I don't think such a connection's been made.
theyre wearing pajamas
godskin trio in the dlc or it sucks
His roll attack is fricking moronic and I won't be convinced otherwise.
His roll attack goes on for way too long. I'm pretty sure they just left it like that because they thought it would be funny.
For me it's Morgott
He has a completely ridiculous moveset that shits all over any enemy in ER, So while beating Morgott isn't as hard as beating, say, Malenia, the skill ceiling and fight creativity is off the charts. Watch the video if you want to get what I'm trying to say. No wonder why they make you fight him three times. They poured their fricking heart and soul into making the fight kino. Godskin fights too, which is why they make you fight them multiple times. I sincerely hope they dive deeper into their lore in the DLC.
it's true, but it went further for me and made me double down on not really caring for the second half
