not really, it doesn't look like any of the amazing talent who created those games are going to be involved in these. They all look outsourced to western indie studios.
They all look like games that if they didn't have the IP slapped on them, no one would really care. I don't see the point getting excited about that.
desu, zelda and mario games have the same issue. a lot of that IP is just around to advertise the company. mario tennis, mario taxi
nintendo enforces some sort of consistency though, atleast in areas like visuals, so when a Western studio handles something like a Mario sports game, its hard to tell at a glance

Give them a try, play the first one and if you can't stand the gameplay just listen to the OST, then give Jet Set Radio Future a try, once again if you can't stand the game listen to the OST.
I love the series, but the gameplay has aged quite badly in the case of the original one, and JSRF might have better gameplay, but the game can be bothersome at times.
eh, i don't know man. like i enjoy the art and music from those games so maybe i'll keep it that way and enjoy it from a distance.
a bit like wipeout - i don't actually enjoy playing them, but i do love the aesthetics and that's enough for me.
It's good to see that these bastards are FINALLY realizing that they have a TON of good IPs just sitting around collecting dust when they could be making a LOAD OF MONEY from them. It's about time, hopefully they don't suck, and we get more revived IPs in the near future too.

If you followed your logic then Nintendo never should've tried to expand their series appeal on Switch. Most of their IPs exploded in popularity in a way that the new fanbase dwarfed the existing fans to make them a tiny minority in their own fanbase. Other devs clearly saw that and were inspired hence this wave of revivals we're seeing from Japanese devs

it's new fans that keep you alive as a company.
you also have to hook people when they are young so they look at your IP with nostalgia. that's how you get a game that is 32 mb to beat a game that is 8.5 gb for game of the year.
I'm excited in that Sega's digging a foot into their 10 foot deep treasure trove of IPs instead of an inch. Hope they don't botch them too badly.

Sega is reviving a bunch of 20+ year old games that are guaranteed to fail. They'll claim all those titles were icky with problematic themes so they'll have to be updated for the modern audience who has zero interest in the games and will in that same process alienate all 5 thousand fans of the original games that are still alive.
