Dropped it after running around for 10 minutes in the folding screen monkeys boss
Holy shit u exist
For real, who gets filtered by the fricking monkeys?
I heard it before and I thought it was just a meme, did that """bossfight""" seriously filter anyone?
I joked about people getting filtered by the monkeys, but didn't think they were real.
if by boring you mean exciting, I agree with you
Not my fault you're bad at the game and are coping by saying you're bored
OK. You're allowed to not like things that I like.
Kys homosexual
kys moron
its not boring at all
its fricking infuriating
I thought it was stressful, never boring
its a good game but samurais and japan myths are definitely not for me
Played through it once and tried going for a second playthrough and was bored out of my mind an hour into it. Once you understand this games gimmick there's really nothing to it.
Matthewmatosis perfectly explained why it's shit in the Lost Arts of Demon's Souls
>shitty gimmick bosses good
Also the game came out long after his video and is fundamentally different than the other Souls games, so much so that it can't really be called a Souls game.
Its not a souls game anyone who thinks so is actually moronic
>Matthewmatosis
kys, seriously
Can never fund this shit under $30. Its currently in sale for $30 for ps4. Give it to me straight, anons. Is it worth it? Is it fun and i still enjoy dark souls.
Im probably going to get it but answers from people who have actually played it and beat it would be better than morons who get filtered by monkeys.
I got all endings and generally loved the game, you'll probably like it enough to run through it once or twice as long as you aren't just expecting another dark souls. It's quite a bit different and will actively cuck the shit out of you if you try to play it too defensively. Explore the starting shrine a bit and practice with the dude there, it helps you get a feel for what you're supposed to be doing in combat and gave me a way easier start than I've seen other people have.
It’s probably the most memorable game i’ve ever played. I was always at the edge of my seat trying to beat it. When I finally did I was just glad it was over. It’s very stressful, and I like my games to relax. But it’s a masterpiece nonetheless. Nothing quite like it.
I dropped it after 4 hours because I didn't feel motivated to do anything. There's no rewards that made me feel like I should keep going and the story is beyond vague. You're some samurai, OR ARE YOU? And you have to defend the prince OR DO YOU? And you died in the past, OR DID YOU? Frick off already. Game might have been great, but it failed to keep my attention. I moved on and didn't come back to it.
Other Souls games reward you for exploring and fighting bosses. There's no armors, no weapons, no magic. What's the point? If I wanted a semi open world, quick skill challenging game I'd play something like Devil May Cry. Sekiro is too long and too complex for its pick up and play systems.
>There's no rewards
>but it failed to keep my attention
So you're a zoomer with no patience that wants non-stop dopamine hits? Got it. Also, the fact that you think this game doesn't reward you for fighting bosses goes to show how much you played it.
>You're some samurai
Yeah well I guess that's where you already fricked up.
Are you moronic? The whole appeal of dark souls is to keep pushing forward and see what new area, what new enemy is around the corner. Struggling through an area then reaching the boss fog or a bonfire is the whole appeal of souls
The story is the most straightforward and coherent of any From game. Your "rewards" (lol) are exploring the world, progressing the story, fighting new interesting enemies, unlocking new combat arts and prosthetic tools, like any other video game. I think you might just be moronic, sorry.
Sekiro sure would have sucked in the worlds of Dark Souls and Bloodborne. He is terrible at handling giant enemies.
>He is terrible at handling giant enemies.
>beats the Divine Dragon
filtered by ogre?
played it, was boring midway this is why i pirate all my shit
>Buy Sekiro on sale
>Buy DS1
>Try out DS1
>Get filtered HARD at the 2nd lvl
>Drop because it's way more frustrating than fun
A shame I was liking the eerie ambiance and story.
Is Sekiro as hard as DS1? Should I just refund it? Or should I persist?
DS1 isn't hard homosexual
Sekiro will be much harder for you
orge is easy
you are a moron
i've been told it's hard to learn and early levels are unforgiving. but FRICK YOU i'm not a homosexual. booting it right now and not leaving til the end
all you have to do use a shield or zweihander
I was going to spam first boss to practice dodge rolls on swings. The iframe timing and reading swings are my issues i think. Does parry work on bosses?
mostly not in DS1
Only the final boss from what I remember.
no u
>you're not meant to dodge
>you're not meant to trade blows
>skills use annoying to get consumables
>you're supposed to stand in front of the opponent and just mash the parry button
>when a BIG RED PROMPT appears either mikiri or jump
>yes you are
>yes you are
>agreed, good point and annoying mechanic
>not really
>true
I liked it at the start because is seemed fair, but it's the same artificial difficulty crap as DS.
>no pvp
>parry is overpowered
>no summons
>no builds
>only one weapon
>dodge is shit
>forced stealth sections
This game is garbage
All of those things are good.
Said no one ever
I wasn’t asking.
>no pvp
It was unbalance shit anyway
>no summons
Would destroy the entire balance of the game
>no builds
Action game
>dodge is shit
git gud
>forced stealth sections
They're optional. No one is forcing you to do them you moron.
>Action game
it's not an action game you moron
>it’s not an action game
>you do action in it
oy vey
You’re dumb.
So it's an action RPG? Is that what you're trying to tell me?
it's the same turn based shit as dark souls, even more turn based, now you have to always wait for enemy attacks. at least DS gave you some freedom.
is overpowered
you are legit moronic. What's next, shooting is overpowered in FPS games? Jumping is overpowered in mario? moron.
>parry OP
you can tell the adhd gays by this alone. they would rather swing wildly and get mad when parried than learn mechanics of the game.
90% of people probably don't realize a good parry is doing more "damage" than an r1.
Only problem I had with the game was how the spirit emblems you were allowed to use was so low and also how the majority of the prosthetics was useless.
after playing nioh I can't go back to sekiro its such a shitter game and only gets praised because it's souls like related
bosses are greatn exploring and lore not so much
No.
It's hilarious that people can't seem to master the only thing required for this game, timing. Once you master that you become a parry god. If you fail at that simple task, perhaps you should take a broader look at your life and consider suicide.
How dare you insult Fromsoft. If we wre in resetera you'd be banned right now you fricking chudcel freak.
let me guess, you're stupid and try to dodge everything instead of parrying.
