After you realize Dio's massive ego is unwarranted, because he lost like twice to Jonathan, was a head beneath the ocean seething for 90 years straight, then got punched in the leg and exploded. And essentially was just some opportunistic dickhead who declared himself king of everything.
Pretty bad if you have every single advantage possible and overpowered abilities, but still manage to lose at every fight that actually counts for something.
Jojolion was still really new when it came out initially which is why Josuke was the only character at first. They added another one during DLC but I am surprised they didn't add at least one more. I kind of get it though, part 8 stands don't fit fighting games very much, they were mostly automatic stands that characters ran from until they could find and one shot the stand user.
I don't know shit about JoJo or this game, but if I had to pic someone I'd go with the guy with the gray beard and hat.

Part 2 Joseph was goofy and sometimes a bit lazy, but very competent, and freakishly smart.
Part 3 Joseph got shafted so hard it isn't even funny. He's not even that smart anymore and jobs in fights that should be his area of expertise so Jotaro can have more screentime. Hell, despite being the only Hamon user, he has little relevance to defeating Dio, the VAMPIRE. And Araki has to asspull out that a Stand can cause permanent or at least very long lasting damage to Vampires in order for Jotaro to win. Joseph should have been more competent and mentorlike to Jotaro and it could be a proper passing the torch story, but pretty much all of Part 3 is held back by constant Jotaro meatriding.
4 and 6 are better because Jotaro is no longer invincible and can get his shit fricked up if he slips up. Almost dies to both Kira and fricking Sniper Rats in part 4, and he just straight up loses in part 6. The first time he gets ventilated by 9mm. They still jerk him off a lot, but he can actually get messed up in those parts.
Part 3 pisses me off because basically every other member of the Crusaders is more interesting than Jotaro, but Jotaro gets like 50% of the fights, and Polnareff gets another 30%.

Yeah he's essentially indestructible in part 3. The final fight really annoys me too. Should've been a tag team fight with Joseph, like imagine infusing star Platinum's fist with hamon or some shit, would've been kino.

I don't get why kakoin died and not polnereff. He avenged his sister and had is arc complete. It would have been cooler for him to have gotten impaled and then used his secret technique to shoot the clock with his sword to stop time from moving instead of it just getting emerald splashed

Each part is effectively its own thing in a different place in time with its own set of characters, the protag is just always nicknamed JoJo, part 1 is basically just Castlevania, Part 2 is like a witty Marvel movie, Part 3 has comic relief protags but villains that are knockoffs of popular horror movies, part 4 is a slice of life/murder mystery, and part 6 is a prison jailbreak thing
