Unfortunately it's illustrative of the wider game, not just Wyll. Judging by what was promised and failed to materialize and what we know from the datamined cuts, a lot of time has been lost on ideas that were developed then scrapped or changed to the detriment of the final product.

It's incredible but I ended up not liking a single character in this game. With other CRPGs there are at least one or two characters that I really like while others are just OK but here there isn't a single one I'd want to use outside of their gameplay utility.
Frick, I've played Pathfinder WOTR like 4 times and took Regill with me every single time just because I like that little gnome fricker and it's fun to see him cope with everything when you're on a chaotic path.

I don't really feel like giving two items to a merchant is that much of a questline
