I enjoyed playing through them all for the first time in 2022, as a guy who hadn’t previously played an FPS game (well, besides a bit of L4D2 if that counts). Didn’t touch multiplayer though, and haven’t played 5 or Infinite.

halo games are short, simple, and quick to get going. the stuff people have sitting in their backlogs are slow starters with several tutorials players haves to pay attention to to grasp the multitudes of mechanics.
5 good games for a tenner is a steal. Halo 4 is shit but the rest are all worth a playthrough, especially Halo 2 and ODST. Multiplayer for Halo CE, 2 and 3 is fun too.

It's a lot of games for that price. One of the neat things is you download a Halo hub of sorts and choose which games to download so you don't need to have the entire series installed at once, and you can configure control options for each game individually.
3 has the superior level design and all but what is with the change of tone and why does the writing is so bad compsred to 2? They trying to get emotional killing characters was dumb, cheap and weightless.

Only thing I dropped from the collection was CE cause of the jank and halo 4 which has been criticized to death. All the other games are worth it though

Nah, the keyboard and mouse are absolutely fine. It's just that you feel the aiming and movement were gimped so you don't have to be as precise.
For the price it's a steal. The first three games games are worth it alone.
KBM is fine. It arguably makes the games easier though, due to how dominant precision weapons are.
