No, they're the same resolution. On the other hand, size also has to do with ergonomy. DSi is really small and the thinnest DS there is, it's a tad cramped for adult hands.
The diagonals are terrible on my XL. Could just be mine. The XL looks better for sure and i would use it over my regular one if it weren't for the awful dpad.
I just demolished the trim potentiometer for my DSi's bottom display. I want to use this thread to thank the Chinese for still manufacturing bootleg spare parts for long obsolete consoles. Without them, my precious Pokemon machine would be as good as bricked.
Frick it I'll just buy a usb genesis controller, not paying 50 bucks for this gay shit, I can atleast use that with my genesis 2 mini aswell, and it may have less input lag.
