Should I sell my Wii U? Including my games for it. I'm not really even a big Nintendo fan, and I only have like six games for the system. Splatoon, NSMBU, Smash 4, Mario Kart 8, Tropical Freeze, and BotW. All complete in box.
The last time I touched my Wii U since 2015 was to play BotW. Collecting dust ever since. I don't particularly have fond memories of the system, and emulation and the Switch can pretty much do everything the Wii U can, but better. Since I already have a hacked Wii and a nice CRT, I don't really see the point in hacking my Wii U. I don't realistically see myself ever using the Wii U again. What price do you think I could fetch for a black Wii U + those games? If it's less than $150 I probably won't bother.
I recommend Xenoblade Chronicles X. I would be playing that, but I gave it to my brother. I don't regret it, he hacked her, that is, she got more out of it than I did.

yep. I sold mine right before I got a Switch. any game you'd ever have the urge to play again got ported over except for like Windwaker/Twilight princess HD which is always rumored.
check the ebay sold listings. I had around the same games as you did and sold it for like 200 pretty fast. probably could have got more too, but this was also when everyone was buying shit on ebay/mercari so prices may have even come down since then.
No. It's the last even remotely decent Nintendo system, and doubles as both a Wii and GC.
Not to mention it's piss easy to Jailbreak and fill with emulators, games and apps.
I don't see the point in that. My Wii is hacked and can play every Nintendo game under the sun, the only feature the Wii U has on it is the ability to play Wii U games, which you don't even have to hack to accomplish.
WiiU is a HDMI system, which alone puts it above the rest.
Also BotW and HD ports of other Zeldas alone make it worthwhile to have.
I can tell you 100% that old school games on the Wii + CRT will look massively better than Wii U + HDTV.

Don't. Nintendo drones will try to buy it for a higher price in the future ("LOOK AT THIS HIDDEN GEM/FORGOTTEN CONSOLE" youtubers and etc) and the wii-u has amazing homebrew potential;

I keep mine around as a HD GameCube machine and that alone is worth it to me. But if you're happy with emulation then yeah it's 100% worth selling. Just make sure you try out awkward to emulate games before getting rid of it (anything that uses the gamepad).
