Bought cheap used one. Do you mean by ghost scrolling that it sometimes scrolls up when scrolling down?
If that, then it's most likely some dust or other shit. Sprayed some contact cleaner there because was too lazy to take it apart and it was fixed
billionaires are the ones suffocating to death in the abyss of the ocean rn so all of their billionaire nonce friends are probably the ones pushing it so hard. close knit circle and everything
Right, it's a "schizo conspiracy" and media doesn't have an agenda at all. I bet you think 20 simultaneous gamers are over articles also happened by accident.
It's a genuinely interesting human interest story. It's a story of greed and hubris combined with spectacularly shitty engineering and corner-cutting. The scale is certainly a lot smaller but it ironically pushes the same buttons that made people so fascinated with the original sinking of the Titanic.
The icing on the cake is that the CEO of the company (who also went down with the submersible) was bold enough to name his craft the "Titan".
I guess to gather sympathy I guess? The irony here is that they had the money to take a trip like that in the first place. Turns out too much money CAN kill you.
absolutely do not fricking get this mouse
I bought two of them and they each started double clicking with 6 months
I've been using Zowie EC-2C for about a year now and it's working quite well, no annoying LEDs are a big plus as well
Logitech are probably the worst for double-clicking, but I've had double clicking with every major brand in the past: Razer, Logitech, Steelseries, Zowie, Glorious Gaming, etc.
I most recently switched to the basic DeathAdder V3 primarily because of the optical main buttons which in theory should never double click. So far so good.
The main downside is that whenever the mouse is plugged in (or if you restart the computer) the firmware-spyware will check to see if the Razer software is installed, and if not it will launch an app asking you to install it. If the software is installed, even if it's not running, then it doesn't do anything. Razer is fricking moronic for doing this because the mouse doesn't actually need the software to function, but it's at least tolerable if you install the software and then just close it and disable it from auto-start.
i still use, this it's undying except the rubber part is getting uncomfortable now. i need a real reason to replace it because it's getting fricking boring how featuressly reliable this thing is
NO!
Every Logitech thing I ever owned broke. >g pro wireless-double click (not memeing, it literally double clicked) >K400+ keyboard-buttons stopped working after a year >headphones- literally disintegrated >other headphones-wouldnt work if you plug them in after a game launched, requiring you to restart the game >speakers-crackled and hissed after 3 years
buy an RazerDeathAdder v3 wired (its even better than the pro version which is just thewireless version. while the wired version is an revision of the pro which improves on the faults of the pro). i dont regret it one bit
Yeah, I got a G403 and it's aight. Had to replace 2 switches for the left click in 3 years of constant use though, it's easy to do if you're not moronic.
i don't get it. that is such a basic mouse. how did you decide to target that single on for purchase? there are a million that are the same and probably cheaper
>wireless >relatively light >good sensor
What else would you need from a mouse? and it only costed me 20$. >there are a million that are the same and probably cheaper
Such as?
>Not sure, but Razer is pretty shit
and they still have code in their driver to connect to the internet to upload information from your computer to their servers, and you can't block it easily
Went from HyperX Pulsefire Dart to Logitech G703 Lightspeed Hero.
The Pulsefire was kinda janky in a lot of ways. The Logitech feels much better cursor wise.
I run it on 20k DPI and low windows cursor speed.
In my opinion it just feels smoother than low DPI and normal/high cursor speed, since the raw data is more granular.
From my experience almost every mouse develops scroll wheel and click issues, but almost no sensor ones.
Even the very good japanese Omron 10m click boxes only cost like 3$ per piece and it's just 3 contacts to
resolder them it's really not that hard, same with the kailh mouse wheel encoder.
I have middling equipement, but you really just need a 10$ soldering iron, solder, solder removal tape the clickbox and
a screwdriver. It's done in an hour, maybe an hour and a half if you are new and careful.
Only out of warranty of course.
I have a logitech g502
I hate having so many easily licked buttons on the thing and it's shape has too many spots that get dirty.
Any recommendations for a mouse with a smoother, cleaner shape and not too many silly buttons on the top?
I got 'Logitech M720 Triathlon' recently and it feels good so far. Comfy for both games and general pc use. Used to have the same one as OP and didn't really like it that much
I never experienced this double clicking (had middle mouse button need to be pressed harder)
What are you guys more hardcore then me? Is that like 15 hours of videogames a day?
there is a non-zero chance that the sub is recovered intact and it turns out that a logitech controller malfunction killed 5 people in one of the worst ways imaginable. theres no way their c-suite isn't shitting absolute bricks until that search is called off
>always get generic keyboards
>prefer a "gaming" mouses simply because the side buttons are usually more ergonomic
based. Never spent more than 30 bucks on a keyboard. Mouse makes a difference though
>double-clicks within months
blow on it
that fixed it for me
had mine for 2 years and its still not clicking wtf bros
you have less dust or clean things
average gamers play in their shed
Had a G502 for nearly 4 years with no problems so far. If it does start double-clicking at this point I've more than got my money out of this mouse.
It'll double click in under 2 years
mine is 4 years going strong
I have this exact mouse G305. I started getting ghost scrolls after just 3 months of use.
Bought cheap used one. Do you mean by ghost scrolling that it sometimes scrolls up when scrolling down?
If that, then it's most likely some dust or other shit. Sprayed some contact cleaner there because was too lazy to take it apart and it was fixed
send an email if you're still under warranty, they replaced mine for free
G Pro X Superlight is the only Logitech worth getting these days.
You're not funny.
Why is this submarine shit pushed so hard? The traction that piece of news is getting doesn't feel genuine at all.
It's people dying in a rare and interesting way.
because it's funny
billionaires are the ones suffocating to death in the abyss of the ocean rn so all of their billionaire nonce friends are probably the ones pushing it so hard. close knit circle and everything
>The traction that piece of news is getting doesn't feel genuine at all.
Do you have a history of schizophrenia in your family?
Right, it's a "schizo conspiracy" and media doesn't have an agenda at all. I bet you think 20 simultaneous gamers are over articles also happened by accident.
>and media doesn't have an agenda at all
What the frick kind of agenda would media have by pushing a story about a fricking lost submarine?
rich people dying is always funny
It's a genuinely interesting human interest story. It's a story of greed and hubris combined with spectacularly shitty engineering and corner-cutting. The scale is certainly a lot smaller but it ironically pushes the same buttons that made people so fascinated with the original sinking of the Titanic.
The icing on the cake is that the CEO of the company (who also went down with the submersible) was bold enough to name his craft the "Titan".
Because it's fricking hilarious. A fricking Logitech controller. No op don't get Logitech unless you want to die
I guess to gather sympathy I guess? The irony here is that they had the money to take a trip like that in the first place. Turns out too much money CAN kill you.

Only if it is wired. Wireless Logitech apparel is unreliable, you will be dying a lot if you use them.
G502 hero
i mostly stick with steelseries
Steelseries scroll wheel always starts to frick up after a year or so of use, and I've used multiple of the Rival and Sensei series
i still use, this it's undying except the rubber part is getting uncomfortable now. i need a real reason to replace it because it's getting fricking boring how featuressly reliable this thing is
The last good Logitech gamepads
>stick plastic breaks easily
>no r2 l2
Damn looking good, gonna get one for my submersible.
NO!
Every Logitech thing I ever owned broke.

LOGISHIT!
>other headphones-wouldnt work if you plug them in after a game launched
Windows issue
yes, get a g600. it's the best mouse in the world.
No, Logitech products are pretty sub-standard. Stick to Razer
Got a Keychron one and didn't have any problems so far. But only had it a few months.
buy an Razer DeathAdder v3 wired (its even better than the pro version which is just thewireless version. while the wired version is an revision of the pro which improves on the faults of the pro). i dont regret it one bit
yes. only get the ones with freescroll like the G502 though
Yeah, I got a G403 and it's aight. Had to replace 2 switches for the left click in 3 years of constant use though, it's easy to do if you're not moronic.
Bought this exact mouse and soldered Kailh GM 8.0 switches on it, been using it for 3 years and not a single problem.
i don't get it. that is such a basic mouse. how did you decide to target that single on for purchase? there are a million that are the same and probably cheaper
>there are a million that are the same and probably cheaper
Maybe they live in a shithole? I know I do and there's zero frickin variety in mice.
>wireless
>relatively light
>good sensor
What else would you need from a mouse? and it only costed me 20$.
>there are a million that are the same and probably cheaper
Such as?
Not sure, but Razer is pretty shit. Synapse flatout defocuses fullscreen games so the mouse pops up so I have to click back on it's moronic
>Not sure, but Razer is pretty shit
and they still have code in their driver to connect to the internet to upload information from your computer to their servers, and you can't block it easily
no the build quality is shit and logitech QA is nonexistent
Went from HyperX Pulsefire Dart to Logitech G703 Lightspeed Hero.

Logitech is switching to Optical switches, so double click should be a thing of the past.
At least those people on the sub didn't die for nothing
I have a logitech g502
I hate having so many easily licked buttons on the thing and it's shape has too many spots that get dirty.
Any recommendations for a mouse with a smoother, cleaner shape and not too many silly buttons on the top?
I got 'Logitech M720 Triathlon' recently and it feels good so far. Comfy for both games and general pc use. Used to have the same one as OP and didn't really like it that much
i have 5 of them. they last for 3-12 months before they start to double click, but the shape is best in slot, so...
I never experienced this double clicking (had middle mouse button need to be pressed harder)
What are you guys more hardcore then me? Is that like 15 hours of videogames a day?

we live in a simulation
Pic related still doesn't want to die.
It has almost 15 years.
