This. You don't get bulky from running around and punching shit. Boxers are generally bulkier than your actual fighter. Not saying boxing isn't fighting, I wouldn't want to get hit by a boxer more than I have, but fighting to hurt shit without padded gloves is different. Look at MMA. They are usually thinner and quick instead of bodybuilder bulky.

No. There's incentive to be as big as possible within your preferred weight class. So you bulk up over the weight limit before cutting back down just before weigh-ins.
Mostly in terms of skeletal size, not muscle. Being jacked increases your bodyweight so if you're jacked and 5'8, in your same weight class you'll be up against a skinny 6ft homie who has way more reach than you
6ft homies also have incentive to have as much mass as possible in their weight class. If you look at averages, classes tend to sort by height as much as it does weight.

This is why I appreciate her AC version. They added a modest amount of muscle without it being too manly, but you could also tell she was fit/built/works out. Nutifa looks like a pop singer.
