Bloober pitching and ultimately disowning this project (despite all their previous games being dogshit) is the funniest outcome possible. You can tell they thought this shit was going to be their big breakout and everyone hates it instinctively
it's odd to me how much they're openly blaming Konami for stuff before we even have a release date. It's almost like they're trying to force Konami to fire them from the project or something at this point.

Team Silent was Silent Hill. Everyone else has just been doing a bad impression. Resident Evil on the other hand was a franchise with multiple creatives and studios involved who seemingly barely even talked to one another.
The game looks fine so far, and it's only alpha footage.

I find it funny how Konami seemed to have forgotten sh2 was a horror game not an action game. The first half of the trailer hit those vibes well. The second half seemed more like a shitty kill montage minus the screamo music of the late 2000s

How would you make a decent trailer for SH2? It's not an easy game to advertise to a general audience. Even people who played the first game wouldn't have any attachment to the characters. So what do you do?
Yeah cuz most of the RE games are garbo so it never mattered. They just do whatever with each title and hope it sells well.

A gameplay trailer is going to look bad regardless of how you edit it or how long it is because the gameplay in SH2 is fricking trash. So fans of the game are seeing actual gameplay in the remake and freaking out over it. You can't make a good trailer for this game and the fans are the problem.
