You're completely right, but admittedly what little TS4 does right has made it really hard for me to get into the older games again. Specifically the character creator, the ease of building and cluttering houses and establishments, the lack of game-breaking bugs (for the most part), the lack of performance issues that mods only partially remedy; even the multitasking mechanics, despite them also pissing me off occasionally.

The way I play Sims 4 is like this.

If you lack sexual desire it's almost always a negative result of physical development. Typically hormones aren't being produced as a result of deformities or trauma of the genitalia. Townies in 4 barely ever flirt of their own volition so romance is almost always guided by the player so you already have control over who your Sim is attracted to. Functionally this does nothing.

The way I play Sims 4 is like this.
I start with 1 bimbo futa. Every time she has sex with another sim that sim gets manually changed into a bimbo futa version of herself/himself and their sexuality preferences get cranked up to max.
