Changes to crafting/drops/etc. that fricked up the economy hugely. Trading is fricked which is how like 99% of people play the game; basically ruined the game for most people since you can't buy any decent gear and decent gear never really drops.
They reduced loot by 4000% percent lol

They adjusted some loot mechanics so turbonerd uberjuicers dont have their chaos exalted orb count go up by two dozen every single map they run. Anyone just playing the game not poopsocking and copying their favorite autistic streamer doesnt really feel any difference especially after the couple adjustments this week. Turbonerds are just being insufferable and trying to make everyone as miserable as them, a tale as old as time itself.

still applicable though (no one juices maps like the RMT farmers because then they can't run the map to begin with)
Magic find now affects currency items getting upgraded to rarer ones from the archnemesis loot conversion -touched mods.

It's a good league. Content got massively harder and you die all the time if you have braindamage fetal alcohol syndrome. Which a lot of the morons that leave PoE has. Good gear is harder to come by and RMT parties got fricked.

you've got two sets of skills: weapon abilities like blocking, reflection shots, splitshot etc. bound to WERTY by default, and a circular spell selection screen you get by pressing Q, which allows you to swap spells on the fly.
you can do things with your mouse but the preferred way to play is by using hotkeys and using mouse for movement.
i don't wanna jump into controller support while it's still developing, though

DS2 is fun. Currently replaying it after 10+ years and I remember almost nothing from my original playthrough so it feels kinda fresh.
Didn't play DS1 but I remember watching Ross's Game Dungeon video on it and it seemed very different from 2. DS2 went more in the standardized ARPG direction while DS1 had elements mixed in from other genres in an interesting way.

I had a lot of fun playing PoE when I tried it a few years ago. Never gave a shit about the meta or multiplayer, just played through the game solo trying to make the best build I could to clear each level.
