I'm cautiously optimistic after Avatar turned out to be kind of decent
I really liked Avatar and it was the first Ubisoft game that I've played in well over a decade

If you actually get to go through the whole game and there's no twist that the protagonist is actually latently force sensitive / a former jedi / picks up a lightsaber, I may actually consider playing it.
reasons im not excited for this game:
1. no characters will have any depth. bad guys will be obviously bad but not morally reprehensible, good guys will have heart of gold
2. it will be full of kitchy one liners and cringey dialogue
3. gameplay will be stupid easy. combat will not force you to think or take risks. puzzles will be obvious.
4. star wars is incredibly played out at this point and it feels like they cant do anything original with it without shitting on previously established laws and lore

Star wars fans will generally buy whatever has the label slapped on it. I'm pretty positive it's not going to kill ubisoft. That said, I'm not buying it, doesn't look good. And I've seen enough girlboss characters to last me a lifetime.
