[and Pelinal] came to Perrif's camp of rebels holding a sword and mace, both encrusted with the smashed viscera of elven faces, feathers and magic beads, which were the markings of the Ayleidoon, stuck to the redness that hung from his weapons, and he lifted them, saying: "These were their eastern chieftains, no longer full of their talking."
What Im wondering is what happened to the Ayleids aligned to the slave rebellion, we know some houses/minor kingdoms disliked the more daedra heavy ones and sided with the rebelling humans, but where did they go? We know Imperials altered their religion to include elven gods just to accomodate them so presumably they were around for some time after the first empire was establised
Someone more versed in TES lore can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly certain Pelinal killed the majority of them, and its not written what happened to the remainder

They just sort of faded away. Many moved to outlying territories and alot of them moved to black Marsh and valenwood
Oh yeah Valenwood, read a neat theory about that once, Mankar Cameron in Oblivion's an altmer yet lorewise he's supposed to either be a bosmer or come from a bosmer family so some people have theorised he's an altmer in oblivion since he's meant to have ayleid ancestry, it would explain why he could wear the septim amulet since the israeliteel itself if supposedly of ayleid make
Pelinal wasn't a god or a time traveling robot or any of that shit, he was just a hero of the slave rebellion whose feats were heavily embellished over thousands of years.
I don't get why this is the one case where TES fans forget how all the lore is told through unreliable narrators, is it just HFYism?
I love that he shitstomped the khajit as well, almost by accident. Get fricked drug cats. And yes, I know it was because of the khajit breeds that looked like elves
>Play Skyrim as a Dunmer after playing Morrowind as a Nord >The prophecy demands I owe the Nords a favor >Play through VIGILANT and collect Pelinal's Armor >Max out it's stats >Sneak into Thalmor Embassy >put on Armor
It's gamer time

He's heavily modelled on Achilles and Achilles's story is great, so he's interesting even without the sci-fi.
Yes, because time traveling terminator is just an embellishment a copyist monk in Oblandion's cyrodiil would think up.
He had plate armor when the slaves fought as hoplites, this is also before the mages guild
>He had plate armor when the slaves fought as hoplites
And Renascence artists drew Alexander the Great in plate armour.
>implying both aren't true because of gorilla time frickery
You are right. He was a time dragon breaking cyborg AND a mouth foaming lunatic fighting on the side of the slave rebellion for his own vendetta.
Because that's just an excuse for most of what Bethesda puts out being generic and uninspired compared to what was in the games.
Of course, Kirkbride shit that didn't make it into official material is still little better than fanfiction.

Here anon, game your heart (of Lorkhan) out
There are multiple fanmade TES systems and the games are very easy to translate into TTRPG mechanics.
