They are both equally bad in the sense that they are both blinded by their ideology. The Jedi are so fixated on keeping the peace and avoiding conflict at all costs that they eventually fail to see and prevent threats that could destroy the republic and their order. The Sith (and dark jedi in general) crave power and conflict so much that they end up destroying themselves and everything else.
Kreia's entire deal is about people breaking free from the force because every frick time the two biggest factions of force users takes control of the galaxy everyone gets fricked due moronic policies that both side have due acting purely of dogmatic believes.
other funny thing is how every time one side gets too strong the force sparks a giant conflict to make both sides kill each other to borderline extinction to restore its balance. the force is a curse that very few can see through its bullshit
