So I've played a few rounds and I like it so far. Very tactical, very slow paced. Communication is huge, if you are playing with people who don't mic up, you're gonna have a bad time. AI is nice and aggressive but is kinda dumb at times so that could be improved on. It's a little buggy but it's Early Access, and it's not by any means unplayable so it's fine. The graphics are definitely really good but the sound design is what I really like. Definitely need to play with a good set of headphones.
Anyone else give it a go? What did you think? I'm personally excited to see what they add in the future.
So, no one else played this huh?
nope. playing battlebit.
I'm playing both. Six Days as a more intense thing where I need to really focus on what I'm doing, and then Battlebit when I just kinda want to zone out and listen to a podcast.
That's great you still have time to listen to your gay sex podcasts anon
I wanna play it but the lack of a campaign turned me off, seems like once you play through once there's nothing really new to see
The maps are procedural so they're different every time, but then at the same I have seen some pretty similarly laid out maps so I don't know how varied it actually gets. There's a campagn coming apparently, there's an option for it int he menu but it's locked for now. I will say it does feel VERY Early Access.
Waiting on this to get out of early access.
This, everything about it looked like a spiritual successor to Brothers in Arms. I am interested but for 40 dollars I am not buying a shell of a game and as steam reviews have said its pretty bare bones atm.
I've been on the fence about this game but the price seems a bit steep for the content it offers and I don't know anyone to play these kind of games with, not sure if random matchmaking would be fun, the gameplay I've seen looks like a fantastic foundation though, I'll definitely get it down the line.
I couldn't convince my friends to spend 40 bucks on an early access game with mixed reviews. Further down the line when people are saying it has a good amount of content then we'll probably play it, we play a lot of Ready or Not together
I'm on the same boat, reviews are very positive now though, according to the roadmap it seems like it will take around a year to have enough content to justify the price, only thing that made me doubt a bit was the devs mentioning they plan on increasing the price during early access

Cry, muzzdog
How is the game different to Ready or Not? Do you choose missions and equipment before playing?
I don't have the game but from what I've seen there's four coop missions atm with randomized map structure and side missions (heard the map randomization is not great though), each of the four players will be one of four roles with predetermined equipment so you don't get to customize anything.
What kind of roles, do you know?
2 riflemen, one gets a M203
SAW guy
One person gets a shotgun and m16
Okay, I know it's supposed to be realistic but when I heard "roles" I assumed it was more of a hero shooter like a medic, sharpshooter etc.
I guess the closest thing to what you mean is one of the riflemen is the squad leader and can place markers that other players can see.
Afaik everyone can place the pings but the AAV that you restock and respawn at will always try to follow the team lead
Is the ai good?
not really right now, they're basically moronic aimbot machines that will run in front of doors one after the other until there's a pile of 15 corpses on the same spot.
it looks like shit graphically, literally a 360 game,, also you can pirate it and still play multiplayer
It's an interesting choice to have you play as the bad guys
Can you play solo? I watched the gameplay preview about a year or two ago and they showed off AI teammates and squad commands. Looked pretty neat. How is performance?
you "can" play solo but you'll get stomped, AI teammates are coming Q4 this year according to their roadmap
Can you play it alone?
see
Ready or nut has my heart right now definitely playing when more content drops
