I've been replaying New Vegas recently and was actually pleasant surprised how even easier modding is these days
Even if you're old and cranky and doesn't want these newfangled automatic mod lists, there's plenty of detailed guides curating and giving instructions, plus the tools seem more stables than ever.
It's worth checking it out if you do enjoy modding
I don't ever recommend to anyone to install coom mods on Skyrim though, because it turns it into such a perfect adventure cooming game that the last I was jerking off 5 times a day and playing for 10h
