Slay the Spire

Been playing this game recently and have been enjoying it a lot. Already at ascension 5-6 with every character except the watcher, which I couldn't get a single win with yet.

So, Ganker, favorite character, favorite builds? Would love some recommendations on what builds to do with the Silent, because I always end up with a Shiv or Poison run with some discard sinergy on the side, don't see many other stuff to do with him while other characters have lots of flexibility.

    >The Silent is one of four playable characters in Slay the Spire. She is a huntress themed on a rogue fantasy build. This cunning character weakens her foes .

Your comment just made me realize that the Silent is human, I thought it was just a demon skull in a green cloack.

    >Get a nice smooth ironclad run going
    >Pick up spot weakness and limit break back to back
    >Fight Champ for act 2 boss
    >Draw spot weakness literally every turn he doesn't attack, even multiple shrug it offs and a battle trance don't help

I don't have a favorite, but every time I play the ironclad I pick power through and it's a guaranteed win

I thought Ironclad was boring when I started playing, but found a lot of cool cards and builds to combo. My favorite Ironclad run was when I swapped my starting relic for that one that transforms all your strikes and defends, had lots of cards that didn't go together, but managed to hold on to Act 2, which is when the deck started to form, got two battle trances, barricade, entrench and two flame barriers. I had some energy cards like offering and bloodletting, I now had infinite energy, infinite draws and infinite blocks, getting juggernaught at the end of act 3 was the icing on the cake.

the card that transforms all strikes and defends is a must I always take it if it appears at the first boss.
It's almost always a goos way to start a system

          Fixed that for you.

Watcher is beyond piss easy once you learn to go infinite
    >Mental Fortress
    >Talk to the Hand
    >Tantrum
    >Inner Peace
    >Rushdown
There, you have everything you need. Now remove all other cards, starting with Defends. Scrawl, Flurry of Blows, and Fear No Evil are all fine too.

I don't find playing Watcher fun after learning that this is always the optimal build and that other cards are basically wastes of space and detrimental to winning because they aren't these cards.

ive tried to build a few a things
but rng always screw the run
            not giving what i need

with others characters was a lot easier

Which ascension? Before A16 or so, RNG should never prevent a win.

              Agreed.

put two or three upgraded halt cards in your deck
some kind of drawing aid (card or relic)
you can now spend the whole game in wrath
