>Slowing games down.
games are now too fast for me now and no longer fun unless I use tools to slow them down 50%. anyone else finding this?
my days of frantic gaming are over, a nice relaxed version of my favorites is very comfy, if you havent tried it, give it a go.

>it will happen to YOU
Well that's an interesting thought I've never encountered before. I don't want to try it because it seems boring, but it could be fun.
Why not just play Civilization or something though? There are many many turn-based games...
some arcade racers are moronicly fast and unrealistic, I alter the speed until it seems at a realistic speed
the dumb speed is balanced with dumb grip and physics though
just play the pal versions they were made to cater to the slow and lazy european gamers
PAL speed > NTSC speed
there, i said it
.5 is absurdly slow. maybe .8 speed is the lowest i could go
it does vary from game to game, the sweet spot seems to be 0.75
What games and how old are you?
too many games to list, basically anything with frantic gameplay or it seems unnaturally fast.
I'm age 52 so have been gaming since 1980
>games are now too fast for me now
Writing a coherent sentence is clearly also not your speed
If that was true you'd really need to get yourself checked. I'm older than that and have no problem. I still beat shmups with ease and kids 1/2-1/3 my age at fightan games.
Are you over the hill? Cause I just hit a new stride with retro platforming. I beat super street fighter 2010 the final fight, and I'm in my 30s. I could never bear6it in my early twenties, to sporadic.
I don't know what you mean. Can't you be more specific. It's just hard to imagine every game ever is too fast for you.
The only game that is too fast for me is Zool, on Genesis, because it was probably designed with PAL sets in mind and poorly converted. So it's better to play the PAL version. There are a few other Euro platormers like this on both Genesis and SEGA CD. Though for the most part I can play most games just fine at full speed on easy mode.
So, everybody talks about speed on retro consoles...
Do you try PAL games on emulator ?

You don't even know the difference between PAL/NTSC standard and 50/60hz standard.
Shut up, autist.
I think I would fall asleep trying to do this. I can't even stand poorly made 50hz PAL ports that don't rebalance the gameplay for the slower speed.
Consult a neurologist.
I can't relate to this.
Even in games that have bullet time as a mechanic I usually intentionally don't use it because it feels too much like cheating to me.
You must be the first person on /vr/ that would actually benefit from using 50hz PAL releases. Then again maybe I'll be you twenty or thirty years from now and you're on to something here, so do you OP..
The only reason to slow shit down is when you have to CPU Killer your old games to make them playable.
