Nah the only current Fighting Games that seems to be affected at the moment by SF6 are only KOF 15. Melty is really low but it's always been there for months. Tekken 7, Strive, DBFZ etc. are basically the same as they've always been.

Combo Breaker has completely new people in KOF, even EVO Japan has new players in top 8, and we still have new players joining. This is some scrubass mentality you got there and you will unironically ngmi in fighting games.
That's how it is in anything competitive. You just have to accept that you'll have to learn things other people already know. It's a fighting game, not rocket science. Anyone can learn how to play.

Make a new engine from scratch, XV feels like its an old game with new 3d graphics strap on, the characters and animations feel like just scaled up but the movement its like the old games so it look weird and wrong.
Also new characters mechanics don't "match" old chars one's, making them feel way different and tacky.
Also a good artist, all the special effects look like ass.

That's not even the biggest issue. The game is so shit and unappealing that people don't even want to try and learn the game. Nothing is drawing people in at all. Having a large roster means nothing when the game looks like shit and the characters are some of the most boring characters ever to exist.

Is the matchmaking fixed now? The only reason I stopped playing is because it became literally impossible to find anyone online a few weeks after the Geese update.
It was fixed in the crossplay beta, so we're just waiting for the proper release.
