So are you a real roleplayer, or are you one of those autistic nerd homos who suffocates the life out of every RPG by minmaxing instead?

I always play battle mage with archery and lockpicks
computer video games don't have roleplaying in them. i do roleplay in roleplaying games, though.
I always have a frick ton of money and always throe it away on training skills, so eventually there is no role and I'm just a god.
Morrowind is not an rpg.
Morrowind is a better RPG than 99% of codextroony approved "rpgs"
That's the biggest flaw of Morrowind, way too easy to end up overpowered with too many resources. It's best with restrictions.
And your dad is not your real father
Your INT is too low to flase flag, troony. Go back.

Ugh. This makes me think of the people who play D&D and get mad when you present your perfectly minmaxed barbarian and they get mad.
If you put numbers in the game, I must optimize them. To not do so just wouldn't be right...
If you have been diagnosed with autism, please be considerate and do not get into role-playing, It will be unpleasant and uncomfortable for everyone else.
Why are you so boring
Call of duty is for autists on ritalin like you
>To not do so just wouldn't be right...
Why?
why would anyone get mad at your perfectly minmaxed barbarian in a game where you become 100% completely useless for anything other than being a packmule the instant your wizard learns fireball? if you don't minmax your barbarian you'll have even less chance of surviving when you get caught up in the fireball spam aoe.
Games are played to win. Winning is fun and I will win in the best way possible.
Yeah, if you were a fighter and got to pick your opponent you would pick a crippled baby
>that resolution
>those graphic settings
i think you probably should minmax your job irl.
Excessively high resolution causes Morrowind's UI to be too small.
You don't want to have to dart your eye to the corner to see your lifeforce, spelljuice, and fatigué.
You don't want to have to squint to see your equipped spell, and active magic effects.
okay, time to minmax your eyesight at the optometrist.
I balance coolness, actual roleplay and efficiency. I won´t use shitty looking equipment no matter the stats. I also make choices according to my PC background (as opposed to making choices depending on the rewards) but i like to keep my characters morally flexible and i often enjoy having a character arc. Namely starting good and falling from grace or starting evil and redeeming. Finally i do multiclass if it makes sense for a character. Like i can see a journey turning a fighter or warlock into a paladin or a cleric losing it´s faith and abandoning the path. I don´t do the multiclassing just from a meta mechanical point of view. It needs to make sense.
If you can't do both then the game is just bad.
There is nothing else to do with Morrowind RPG mechanics other than minmaxing attributes. Other than this, game plays itself on its own after you set up your skills and exit character creation. There are no feats, no abilities and no perks to learn, stats are autoleveling and are utterly meaningless. Dialogue system is dumbed down and too simplistic to provide any depth for role-playing. All skills are only designed around combat because game is only about clearing dungeons, forts and killing those endlessly spawning MMO style trash mobs in overworld. Warrior and Thief archetypes have literal zero game mechanics and are completely nonfunctional.
Mage and magic related stuff is the only aspect of gameplay that requires any interaction from player.
Skyrim is the first TES game with any depth in character building and properly designed RPG mechanics. But there is no role-playing in Morrowind, it's a braindead action game with shit gameplay.
The latter for sure.
I hate failing and the feeling that I will need to go back later to see what I missed.
Who the hell wants to spend hours to see what would happen if I did x before y instead of just reloading and choosing your path freely?
