They unashamedly, unabashedly did. Post release of Remake, he opened up that Remake as subtitle had plot relevancy to the events taking place in the story. Why does everyone who played the demo from what I've seen, seems to forget to use spells to put enemies into pressured state, and even then barely anyone used focused moves to fill the stagger meter. I haven't played the demo myself since I don't have a PS5, so I can't really get the feel of the updated combat, but it looks like the game encourages you to just mash basic attacks because Cloud is super OP.
Because a lot of people are morons who only want to button mash. It's almost depressing hearing some people talk about the gameplay.
Does Synergy moves help with anything, like do they instantly put enemies into pressured state or fill their stagger meter faster. Or is it it purely damage. If it's the latter, then shouldn't it be better to use Synergy moves after every enemy is knocked down, kinda like that team attack in Persona 5.

Why does everyone who played the demo from what I've seen, seems to forget to use spells to put enemies into pressured state, and even then barely anyone used focused moves to fill the stagger meter. I haven't played the demo myself since I don't have a PS5, so I can't really get the feel of the updated combat, but it looks like the game encourages you to just mash basic attacks because Cloud is super OP.

Does Synergy moves help with anything, like do they instantly put enemies into pressured state or fill their stagger meter faster. Or is it it purely damage. If it's the latter, then shouldn't it be better to use Synergy moves after every enemy is knocked down, kinda like that team attack in Persona 5.

The relationship with Aerith born and died in a short period, and it's fricking rushed, not to mention tha she never knew the real Cloud.
The rushed relationship does feel that way in OG but I love how remake fleshed it out and it genuinely feels like they have a ton of chemistry now and it feels true to both characters.
