TV is that way but Id like it more if I saw everything. Anyone got a pirate or something? I felt bad for the deathmark, poor guy. He killed 5 out of 6 targets and only wanted to get his regeneration back so he could finish the rest.

It was alright, but I thought it was pretty stupid that the sister was inspired by sakan and manifested an act of faith to summon the spirits of her dead sisters to overwhelm the necrons entirely and force szeras off the planet.

I didn't realize it was out yet thanks OP I'll find some means to watch it. All the same though this + shit is still unmistakenly the reason that Youtube content is prohibited from having any Warhammer content published that isn't fricking goddamn constant slideshows for the end of time.

I thought the ending was dumb. Its like they set up this great plot only to have a grimdumb ending.

Its dumb slop. Why does everything just look like a mini, but bigger, with no added detail? Soulless.

Was surprised when it said it was the final episode. Was too short of a series, could have done with 1-2 more episodes.

I expected a showdown with Szeras, especially with the build up of him in episode 2. The final episode had a couple of issues in my view.

    >grimderp ending
I get it but man it would have been nice to have episode 2 pay off and one of the civilians survive

    >MC sister dies
More how she died. One hit, gone. Hoped at least a manifistation of a miracle to kill the Deathmark, then die

    >Deathmark
Great buildup episode 2 but gets damaged by a bunch of guard ep 3 in melee which felt odd. Then it begging Szeras for repairs. In itself OK but would have preferred another episode to focus how deadly it was. Also would have been better if it was severely damaged by Sakahn after a brutal onslought then finished off by zombie guard.

    >guardsmen
If they are not being murdered they're killing civilians. I'd like if they were potrayed more heroically like the Salamander.

    >chapter title cards
Could have done with less. Just one for the opening and one for the second half.

Overall an 8/10. Animation was brilliant but was too short.

I remember a White Dwarf scenario where necrons could turn people into technozombies

          [...]
Aren't the necrons all like fractured and not hive-minded now? Perhaps this particular lord or whatever didn't want his necron warriors to auto-regen and axed that particular ability in favour of another, like say zoombifying poor humies.

I think it's meant to be a mass deployment of mind shackle scarabs.
          [...]
          >this particular lord or whatever didn't want his necron warriors to auto-regen and axed that particular ability
          That's just dumb.

Existed for a while, this is just the first time we SEE Mindshackle Scarabs in action : basicaly necron scarabs small enough to infest the nervous system and, mess with the electrical currents in it to control the host.

It was a Lord Equipment option in 5th edition that, if I remember correctly, allowed the carrier to force one model to melee attack it's own unit or something in that theme.

It came back in Ark of Omen as a Boarding action Stratagem

You dumb bastards should read up on the Pariah Nexus.

It's called the Hollowing. It featured in the last title card.

The Pylons cut off reality from the Warp just results in normal humans regressing into a zombie like state as they steadily lose connection to their souls. Eventually, they become mindless husks when their soul is severed permanently from their bodies.

That's the ultimate aim of the Silent King. To banish the Warp forever and end all sentient life in the galaxy by removing their souls aka their connection to the Warp.

However, it's proven that Faith somehow makes people resist the Hollowing. It's still not explained how Faith and Faith Powers counter the Necron Pylons affects.

            >It's still not explained how Faith and Faith Powers counter the Necron Pylons affects

Occam's razor would be that Faith = "Strength of Soul", thus if we take a "Health points" analogy, if the effect of the Hollowing was "everyone lose X soul points, those at or below 0 are zombiified", those with "more soul point" resist the effect.

I hope my example was clear enough ^^"

So why the frick did he tell that one inquisitor that the Imperium "do not understand the depth of their need for our assistance and protection" when he had no reason to lie?

Plus 'crons want their souls and normal bodies back (or at least the Silent King does) and that would really ruin the chances of that.

No, it's the effect of the Pariah field that Szeras was working on. Mindshackle Scarabs don't turn people into zombies; they're usually still sapient, just brainwashed. The Infinite and the Divine has a few examples of what it's like, such as a Skitarii mindshackled by Trazyn having a subconscious inability to look to the side and notice that he's fighting alongside Necrons.

It's alright, makes me want to see more games and settings realized in animation. I laughed when the space marine somehow snuck up silently on those two necrons then was stomping loudly again right after. I do agree that the designs are very 1:1 tabletop model.

    >Set up this plot with a Sister losing faith due to the effects of the Pariah Nexus, a Salamander escorting a group of innocents and Szeras doing a deeper analysis of his experiments while a Deathmark is sent to clean up any survivors.
    >Nothing of note comes from it
I was half expecting a deeper dive into what the Nexus is doing or a hint that Szeras' experiments are actually hitting new strides being able to reverse engineer the biotransference process on humans (Pariahs).
But... it just kinda ended up being nothing. Cool individual scenes, but just ended as a nothing burger.
