3 and a half
1 blind
1 with a planned str/fait build
1 with a bleedstacking edgelord homosexual
0.5 because I had a character for level 1 invasions and I progressed through the game enough to beat Godskin Duo and get Alexander's shard and Millicent's Prosthesis. The last one was a bit brutal because I had to keep my weapons at max +3 regular/+1 somber to be able to invade fresh characters. It was worth it, I had a ton of fun and even stole shit that mules dropped
im on my second playthrough.
first playthrough was pure strength
this one i'm respeccing pretty often to try different playstyles.
its an ok game. i doubt i'll ever play it again after i'm done with this current run. the open world was a neat experiment but i think it made the game suffer. all of the souls games and bloodborne feel more contained
Honestly don’t understand the people who replay games with different builds. Does it materially affect your experience? Not really, especially when time is limited and there are other games out there.
I've beaten everything available (fire giant, melania, and mohgs included) up until farum azula with three different characters. Still haven't finished the game
finished hammer and a magic build, am doing dragon incant wuth double greatswords now. after that Ima prolly redo my DS1 Pyromancer as an elden ring char with fire incants, after that status build with dual wielded frozen needle and bloody antspur rapier. will defninitly do a holy knight build with buff and a spear
Just once. On release I played a character that went all in on Arcane because I thought it'd be a useless stat with maybe five weapons or spells worth using so imagine my surprise. I'm doing a second character focused on faith incantations but it kinda blows and I find myself using weapon arts more anyway.
0. i dropped it at that snow area
0. i dropped it at that snow area
I'm 60 hours into my first play-through, going with a bleed build and mimic tears because frick Ganker
You are not beating the game
I'm sure as hell having fun stomping every optional boss in less than 20 seconds
2. Game is terrible though, actually one of the worst games From ever made
Same and I agree
One and done
has there been any performance/optimization patches since launch? i tried it back then but my computer didn't like it
5 times. I've savescummed every ending.
5. Still haven't done a sorc build yet, thats the next.
I am almost done with my fourth playthrough.
Got 500 hours of playtime, despite not doing any pvp because of how complte shit it is in this game.
3
Hero because I'm a hero
Daggers prophet. it was really fun
Dexgay 2kat to see what the fuss was aboot.
Doing sword and board knight this run.
9. Autism compelled me to finish every character I started.
5 more to go, heh heh
0, I will probably never play it, game doesn’t interest me.

Twice.
First time was a STR based build with a bit of dex. Grafted Greatsword and Buzzsaw.
Second time was Uchigatana with Seppuku and Dragonscale Blade.
Saving the third time for a stream doing magic.

1 and I should have stopped after Fire Giant
The real question is which build was the most fun?
I got a lot of fun out of the guard counter build. Heavy poise was sweet.
Strength by far. Post update Lion's Claw was my fricking jam.
They got what they fookin deserved.
Zero. I deleted it after an hour. I like relaxing games.

I beat it three times to 100% it. Twice with my STR+FAI character and once for a samurai starting equipment only run (this one SUCKED).
Never played it.
Never will.
I hate mindless open world games.
I've beaten everything available (fire giant, melania, and mohgs included) up until farum azula with three different characters. Still haven't finished the game
Last thread just hit autosage, so the thread speed is going to pick up with posts by "those types" if you know what I mean.

I genuinely believe that people who replay games more than twice are on the spectrum.
I beat the game once and I have 9 characters. Invading is so much fun
Also on third playthrough but I've started making more builds instead of progressing now

Several. Randomizer gives it a lot of replay value.
I finished one playthrough and now I have several other characters in various parts of the game(which is how I usually "replay" games)
