Most of the games are good, but 1/2 Genie Hero is just boring shit, more like 1/2 finished game. Seven Sirens was a fricking two-part mobile game, so make of that as you will.
All jokes aside I think the series is pretty solid. Good artwork, fun gameplay, not anything revolutionary but enjoyable.

Well the first game had one, but then they just decided to get rid of it and replace it with a single dance loop starting with HGH
The ones where you play as Risky or with pirate gear are good, the rest is pretty mediocre.

The original is pretty good, if you can deal with what it means to be "pretty good" as a Gameboy Colour game.
Seven Siren's is just straight up boring, worste game in the series imh. Can't recommend it at all.
I think Shantae Advance actually getting released this year is cool. I hope it'll be great of course, but if they're really just finishing a mostly done game, then I think it'll probably just be pretty good.
