In the civilized world we have what is called hygiene standards. I would assume you are posting form India or any other country where you don't eat with the left hand since they are used to wipe the poo poo and you can't showel food into your mouth with your poo poo hand.
In the rest of the world, butchering and animal husbandry has been standardized the animals are taken care of, get checkups and the meat is checked and processed in as clean of an environment as possible, then frozen and or chilled until consumption to prevent any possible bacteria build up. with freezing used to kill any parasites in meats fit for raw consumption.

Its a good game but has pretty shit characters, unironically the entire game just centres around Eve which is kind of lame compared to other RPGs.
