Some of the moves are meant for combo juggling. Also Tekken's appeal is the amount of surprises due to the huge movelist. If you cut the movelist, then it becomes strict, pixel perfect, reflex bullshit no fun street fighter.
i think they intentionally make the movelists and mechanics in these games as moronic and overbloated as possible while providing no tutorials, that way 95% of players will never advance beyond mashing randomly, thus ensuring an even playing field, and paradoxically a lower intimidation factor

Tekken 8 will eventually get real bikini costumes. All games since 6 have had them so no reason for this one to not get them.
