I don't mind biped starters, I think most people disliked the standing up thing on Incineroar because Incineroar is terribly ugly, Meowscrada isn't, so even post reveal people weren't as mad.
Also Skelidirge shows they might not have the ability to stick the landing on quadruped starters anymore anyways, so this was for the best.
