Rebirth is more weeb than Metaphor.
I don't get that. every character is hyper realistic styled, but the voice acting is full of awkward grunts and pauses and the characters are animated to over emote constantly. it's filled with more awkward japanese humor than xenoblade 2. the original is full of camp, but it's so jarring in remake/rebirth.
they were torn trying to appeal to modern gamers as well as fans of the original and the result is a frankenstein.

Metaphor looks good but Rebirth is THE GAME OF THE YEAR. I don't know why people get mad that Rebirth is one of the best games to come out in the last 10 years.

Metaphor wins the cake because it seems pretty gameplay focused, while Rebirth is just minigames, dating simulator and open world garbage.
