There's a fundamental failure to pass on knowledge from the older generations to the next. This is actually a wider issue than just courtship and procreation. Many skills are becoming harder to come by, simply because irresponsible parents refuse to give their children the time of day to teach them. Just as an offhand example, more and more people are growing up without knowing how to even tie a knot!
But the second problem is contributing to the first. Simply put, with population and economic growth, resources get harder to come by for the average person. It takes more productivity, more WORK to keep ourselves alive. Doubly so when we're expecting children to take care of. How can you expect children to be brought up properly when more and more it takes both parents working just to financially support their children? Hell, how can you expect a father to pass on knowledge to his sons when he has to devote all his time to keep his household afloat?
Hell, why would the children from any household ever consider having children when they grew up watching their parents throw their lives away to financially support them? Having a child in a developed country represents an immediate downgrade in your standard of living. You can't expect them to be selfless and agree to trade their lives away for someone who hasn't even been conceived, yet. It's asinine.
If you want society to heal, you need to make family life more palatable. That means better wages, more time, a societal environment that allows people to spend time with their families. Getting enough money through work and investments to the point where you no longer need a job and start a family, so that way you can spend all of your time with it? Not sure if that’s feasible for 95% of men. By the time you’re set you’ll probably be around your 50s.
There is no easy solution. I think the best options are either
A: Allow population decline to take its course. Eventually resource scarcity won't be as much of a concern, and then the population can increase again. If you're worried that the population might be too small by that point, I'd like to remind you that populations historically explode after long periods of decline.
B: Give up globalization. A big part of the reason the cost of living if so high while wages have stagnated is because on both the labor and consumer ends, we're competing with the whole world. If your labor can be outsourced to a cheaper country, they'll do it. If your food can be sold to another buyer who will pay more, they'll do it.
Both of these options will have significant economic fallout.

Upbringing has a far, far, far greater impact on how an individual treats women. I think your personal perspective is coloring things quite a bit here. You can habituate yourself to just about anything, that doesn't mean the thing is necessarily harmful in and of itself, but it can still be part of an unhealthy usage. People can be addicted to exercise and even if they don't hurt themselves with bad form or decide to roid themselves, they can still ignore other relationships to "go to the gym" or use it as an unhealthy avoidance behavior or become overly fixated on that part of their life to the exclusion of others etc.

You're assuming a causative effect not a correlative one. There's a number of other issues, but even if we assume there aren't any others, someone who has brain issues one way or another (lets say depression, something that messes with the regulation of dopamine and serotonin ) is more likely to spend an inordinate amount of time watching porn rather than going outside and meeting other people because they're lonely, sad and hurt. It takes more productivity, more WORK to keep ourselves alive. Doubly so when we're expecting children to take care of. How can you expect children to be brought up properly when more and more it takes both parents working just to financially support their children? Hell, how can you expect a father to pass on knowledge to his sons when he has to devote all his time to keep his household afloat?
Hell, why would the children from any household ever consider having children when they grew up watching their parents throw their lives away to financially support them? Having a child in a developed country represents an immediate downgrade in your standard of living. You can't expect them to be selfless and agree to trade their lives away for someone who hasn't even been conceived, yet. It's asinine.
If you want society to heal, you need to make family life more palatable. That means better wages, more time, a societal environment that allows people to spend time with their families. A: Allow population decline to take its course. Eventually resource scarcity won't be as much of a concern, and then the population can increase again. If you're worried that the population might be too small by that point, I'd like to remind you that populations historically explode after long periods of decline.
B: Give up globalization. A big part of the reason the cost of living if so high while wages have stagnated is because on both the labor and consumer ends, we're competing with the whole world. If your labor can be outsourced to a cheaper country, they'll do it. If your food can be sold to another buyer who will pay more, they'll do it.
Both of these options will have significant economic fallout.

I think your personal perspective is coloring things quite a bit here. You can habituate yourself to just about anything, that doesn't mean the thing is necessarily harmful in and of itself, but it can still be part of an unhealthy usage. People can be addicted to exercise and even if they don't hurt themselves with bad form or decide to roid themselves, they can still ignore other relationships to "go to the gym" or use it as an unhealthy avoidance behavior or become overly fixated on that part of their life to the exclusion of others etc.
But there are millions of people who engage in healthful ways with games and still "do things in real life". Also a lot of this is a naturalistic fallacy, that because we no longer toil in the hot fields all day subsistence farming, hunter-gathering and maybe getting half our hunting party wiped out because of a sabertoothed cat while three others die from infection from minor wounds, that its somehow less "fulfilling"? Things should evolve. That's okay. You're assuming a causative effect not a correlative one. There's a number of other issues, but even if we assume there aren't any others, someone who has brain issues one way or another (lets say depression, something that messes with the regulation of dopamine and serotonin ) is more likely to spend an inordinate amount of time watching porn rather than going outside and meeting other people because they're lonely, sad and hurt. That doesn't mean porn MADE their brain that way, or that someone without any of these issues or brain variances would suddenly become that way if they watch porn. This was pretty much the same argument made for things like drug addiction that the drugs made them that way, but we learned that wasn't in the vast majority of cases the issue (outside of specific chemicals like methamphetamine compared to less neurotoxic amphetamines ). Basically, people with brains pre-wired for addictive and other behaviors were the ones who got involved with addiction and had negative outcomes where people without those issues could take the same substances and it not show permanent alteration to their brain nor cause their owners to engage in addiction behaviors.
There's more going on here but to suggest that aside from general behavioral science and standard neuroplasticity that porn is somehow wrecking normal people's brains is irrational. You could make the same dopamine argument about playing vidya - "Oh your brain was only wired for killing the mammoth once a week but now you get win a round of counter strike whenever you need to feel good!
