You have to suffer from profound mental moronation to as AAA company use that DRM and to install anything with it. Yeah Denuvo nowadays asks 30k per month to maintain it so after some time after sales drop it means that you would be paying just for DRM and you basically lose money because your game is on Steam store. Denuvo knows it works so they constantly push pricing further,last year it was 25k per month now its fricking 30k but publishers are still paying so why not its smart from them.

That's the reason Enigma is flagged by certain AV software. The way it works prevents AV software from properly scanning an executable for suspicious known patterns of malware. But the presence of Enigma itself is perfectly detectable. So what does a reputable AV product then do, in light of Enigma having been used to ship actual malware under the radar of AV detection before? They block *all of that shit* -- better safe than sorry.
I can't wait for a year to go by and for people to suddenly get Russian Ransonware. Only for it to be traced back to Capcom's use of it in their games. Do you know how much shit they will get? Do you realize the absolute fricking lawsuit it will end up with.

Enigma is a shit protector that uses tricks documented for years already. It's not meant for antipiracy here (because in this case it doesn't use any additional server license shit like denuvo) they just want to block mods and cheats.
As you can see it's bypassable if you inject a dll correctly so it doesn't notice.
Enigma has a taggant watermark which most AV software should honor if it's not tied to some leaked protector copy and let it pass unless something changed.
