I just checked twater and r*ddit and the posts announcing their preorder have barely any upvotes. I don't think they care especially since the rules for them get squatted in like 2 months.
I think they are nice, just need to paint some war makeup for the females and beard for the males. And I actually like the landwhale as the icon bearer, it's kind of accurate to use the fatso with moron strength to hold the oversized banner.
I like the concept of Conan the Barbarian style Marauders but these are just done so fricking poorly.
These models could be so cool if they didn't make them special ed.

Honestly? It looks pretty good to me. Maybe a bit more thinning, but it looks more like a wash was pooled over the two on the left. They're otherwise pretty solid paint jobs. Won't win awards, but they get the job done and overall look solid.

Box has no gender parity.
Would be cooler without the female models. They just don't pull off the same rugged look as the guys.
They all just look like shit. They are incredibly generic with nothing setting them apart from the countless other companies making barbarians.
If these guys were painted with tattoos or war paint, I could actually see them looking pretty cool. I can see people doing cool stuff with these guys, even if they're probably not my favorite minis.

We’re at the second stage of the perpetual AoS copecycle. Previous releases have been downgraded to ‘yeah lumineth aren’t great’, these are now ‘good models, fun kits’ etc, and Skaven and upcoming stormcast are now ‘incredible models, a breath of fresh air, aos finally hitting its stride’. Give it two years and AoS fans will claim noone ever liked these.
