Actually it is and the story at the end ends up being good. It's underappreciated. It's not super amazing but it's not half bad.
It's the type of game certain people will LOVE.
If nioh 2 doesnt exist its fun, if nioh does exist then itll just make you want to replay nioh2 for the polish it has. It wouldve been good if the combat wasnt so sloppy.

It flopped because the game was not made by human beings. Hold the touchpad to talk to NPCs, who the frick designed this? The whole game is like this.
It's a good thing that talking to npcs isn't a major part of the game. Pretty sure I skipped all of the NPC dialogue except for the first time it was available.
