I had more fun with it. But that probably had more to do with the fact you didn't have to spend 200+ hours to complete everything like in the first one.
They are both good in their respective right. The amount of content that gets overlooked in X-2 because it didn't want to continue the nihilistic sob story of the first is criminal.
The only thing I'll criticize X-2 for is the fact you have to unironically play the game via a guide for the first time if you want the TRUE ending, it HAS to be completed exactly in a specific order or else you will have to do NG+ to achieve it
maybe I'll give it a shot. I admit I never tried x-2 after hearing about the tonal shift and how it kind of spoiled the bittersweet ending of the first game. then x-2.5 came out and I realized that things could be far worse
I recently played X-2. Not really. It was a bad decision to give the background story of Shuyin AFTER the big concert. Some of the blatant padding like the running back and forth for the monkey sidequest was atrocious, too. The digging segment was awful as well.
It has the most refined and most interesting evolution of the ATB ever presented in any JRPG.
It's a shame that the devs thought what they did with FFXIII was a step forward because we were approaching perfection with X-2.

Is x-2 a hallway simulator like x?

What happened there?
Tidus and Yuna go on vacation, Tidus fricking dies in a head exploding blizball accident
Then Yuna summons a new Tidus but they break up

Now that is some bullshit,
I recently played X-2. Not really. It was a bad decision to give the background story of Shuyin AFTER the big concert. Some of the blatant padding like the running back and forth for the monkey sidequest was atrocious, too. The digging segment was awful as well.
I like it better than FFX.
I'll agree to that, but I don't think most people will. Maybe on Ganker though eventually.
It would have been a decent game if it didn't shove those godawful minigames down your throat in every. fricking. area.
>all main characters are attractive young girls
>No yuri
>Didn't get the hot springs scene.

yuna pits
It's been forever since I played it but yes I think it was more fun
I am playing through FFX right now and I do not know if I can make it through this time. there are so many fricking cutscenes that you can't skip.
The Gullwings definitely experimented with each other.
